www.ipsea.org.uk – IPSEA – website and telephone advice line. The phone line is answered by very knowledgeable/experienced volunteers.
www.sossen.org.uk – SOS!SEN – This group has a National Advice line (0208 538 3731) and walk in advice centres at: Thornton Heath, Aldershot, Hampton Court and Waterloo. They do amazing work and now run workshops and also have a Children’s Charity Shop ‘All4Kids’.
www.iassnetwork.org.uk – formerly Parent Partnership. now called Information, Advice and Support Services Network – find your local group as soon as you can. These people are there to help, they understand the system and they are there to help you through the whole process. They are funded by the Local Authorities, so they are there to guide you rather than fight for you. They really want what is best for children and are probably your best foundation step in getting support and advice.

A Full Diagnostic Report will help parents, the dyslexic person, teachers etc, to understand and offer the appropriate support, strategies and interventions that are needed to help the dyslexic person succeed.
